Raising Hope Foundation Uganda is an N.G.O based in Igwe parish, Bulesa sub-county in Bugiri District found in Uganda (East Africa). We started as a voluntary group of people who have love for standing together with our fellows who are in need of our assistance to go through their difficult moments in life.
We didn’t have enough to satisfy the needs of the underprivileged people in our community and that made us to take a step of reaching out to other people for support legally so that we could be recognized by the government hence forming an N.G.O that is fully registered in Uganda under registration number BGR.504/0109 with the aim of restoring communities.
Amongst some of the people in our community that were looking for help, included a young boy called Ndajji Rajab who is suffering from heart complications, hernia and hydroceles. As I myself (Abdul Basitu) was on my instagram account looking for funds to support Rajab’s life, I landed on a kind hearted lady known as Henessi Schmidt who got concerned immediately when I shared with her about Rajab’s life. She accepted to go all for Rajab’s medical treatment and at the moment, Rajab is improving everyday and he is about to get well if all goes well.
This lady Henessi Schmidt and us from that day became family and share both happiness and difficulties together. We wish that you also join us and save the starving blood in Uganda.
